Pelican Hill Resort

I've been itching to upload pictures from my first week in Paris, where I'm studying abroad for the semester, so I figured it was about time I stopped fiddling with these pictures and just posted them! They were taken at the Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach by the lovely Beverly Hu, as always (who needs a beau-tographer when you have a BHutographer?).

Aside from being a beautiful place to watch the sunset, the Café at the resort would make a great study spot. Though lugging your tattered textbooks to an upscale resort sounds strange, the atmosphere is quite tranquil, and servers seldom come around to bother you. Plus, there's gelato (I recommend strawberry and pistachio). I'll definitely be frequenting this place during breaks, since it's only 10 minutes from my house!
